Ethically-made Mesh Leggings Then & Now: The Leap Year Legging

Spread the love

Mesh leggings have proven to be a timeless trendfrom one leap year to the next.

Today marks the year of our mesh leggings. Leap year, to clarify, refers to the addition of an extra day every four years as February 29th in order to keep the calendar cycle synchronized with the seasons. What were you up to around this time, four years ago? Maybe learning the latest TikTok dance challenge, or using the new FaceTime filters to make your friends laugh.

Some fashion trends change drastically like Taylor Swifts boyfriends (whom by this leap year we know she is never, ever, ever, ever getting back together with), or fade like the 2012 ombre in our hair. But the ones that leap from year to year, seamlessly sliding themselves into all style eras become staples, gaining value in their timelessness. For us, that spells out our undying (four year) love for The Teaser Mesh Leggings.

Mesh legging for leap year

In the last year we were rocking athletic chic, accented by the tangerine trending in our wardrobes, but stapled to the ground through our Teaser Mesh Legging. Since then we’ve swapped out the booties that dressed up our leggings prior for fresh kicks (differing from the ones that we wear to the gym of course) to coast through an era of athleisure. Mesh isn’t a new trend, evidently, because it caught us up in its net years ago when we first knew that we had to grab a hold for the ride.

Our leap year love confession? Our mesh paneled leggings first teased our hearts when they came to be exactly one leap year ago today.

Last year may be simply somebody who I only used to know, but this year I’m still wearing my trusty teaser mesh leggings with a crop top and fresh sneakers. And by this year I mean right now, at my desk. – Sasha
