It’s no secret that we’re living through some pretty crazy times. Throughout all of the uncertainty, one thing has remained the same for us here at Public Myth. Over the past two months we’ve received a tremendous amount of love and support from our community. We wanted to say thank you by giving back to our local community. After doing some research, we decided to make a donation of over 100 pieces of unused clothing to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC).
At a time when every little thing makes a difference, donating to those in need is especially important. Something you may or may not be aware of is that centres such as DEWC are only able to take donations of new/unused items. This is making it increasingly difficult to provide to those who need it most. If you have any new/unused items and are in a position to donate, please consider giving back to those in need. The only way to get through this is together, please do what you can to help.

With small businesses making up a majority of all businesses in the US and Canada, it’s easier than ever to support the people who need it most. Remember to “vote with your dollar” and think about what your money’s supporting the next time you shop.
